We are happy to share great news with you. TIK’s new solar power plant is already connected to the grid and ready to produce clean and renewable electricity. This is how we begin TIK’s commitment to reducing our carbon footprint and impact on the environment. From today, our medical devices will be even more sustainable.

Some key information about the new solar power plant:

• 471.3 MWh of planned annual production, which represents 40 percent of current annual electricity consumption, or equivalent to the consumption of 150 average Slovenian households
• 1,102 installed modules
• 160.4 t annual CO₂ savings
• 270 t of annual lignite savings, which in two years of operation means a saving of more than 6,750 tons
• such a reduction in CO₂ emissions is equivalent to 580 newly planted trees
