We are aware that we cannot achieve our goal without well-organized development activities and competent associates. Only high-quality, innovative and competitive products, which are the result of the cooperation of the Research & Development team in the company, can ensure the successful expansion and development of the company in the future. In order to achieve these goals, we have organized a research and development group within the company and at the end of July this year, successfully registered with the Slovenian Research Agency. The TIK R&D team is led by Mr. Robert Zorjan, together with the Head of Technology and Development, Mr. Albert Kurinčič. The company’s research and development work is divided into two major areas:
• Product and material development:
We have three major projects open in this area. We develop our products as a development supplier for three large internationally renowned corporations. In addition, we are developing new products for market launch under our own brand;
• Technological development:
Projects in this area are aimed at increasing the price competitiveness of existing products and developing new manufacturing technologies that would open up the possibility of producing new innovative products.
As part of our Research & Development team work, we have partnered with the faculties of all three universities in Slovenia and the Jožef Stefan Ljubljana Institute, which develop materials and technologies in the field of medicine in their programs.
This gives us access to the knowledge that is essential for successful development. Through networking, we also get to know the international experts and transfer their knowledge into our production. Currently, our Research & Development team consists of three people, while other people participate in our current open projects.
