For the fourth time in a row, we applied for the (regional/national) competition for awards for innovation. This year’s innovation is:
“Automation of the production process of aspiration catheter production”
The main goal of the innovation was to combine all assembly operations into one, to enable the production of different types of catheters with different connections, to integrate a series of 100% control operations, to eliminate intermediate stocks, to reduce electricity consumption and reduce the number of working hours per unit of product.
We succeeded in this by producing an excellent assembly line, which is also distinguished by its exceptional flexibility and sustainable orientation. The line is installed in a new clean room, which received a bronze medal in last year’s inovation tender.
The manufacturer of the line is slovenian company, while the investment was co-financed by SPIRIT.
We are keeping our fingers crossed that the application will be successful this year as well.
