At the end of June, representatives of the multinational Teleflex Medical, Italy, visited the TIK d.o.o. company. In total, there were 25 company representatives, including the CEO and most of the sales managers. Teleflex Medical is a worldwide provider of specialized medical devices designed to improve the quality of life and health of people. Their portfolio is very diverse and the solutions in the field of vascular and intervention access, respiratory care and surgical, anesthesiology and urology therapies are among the most recognizable of their devices. Their branches are located in 40 different countries around the world and employ more than 14,000 people. Most of their products are sold directly to hospitals and other healthcare facilities.
TIK d.o.o. has been successfully working with them for over 15 years. The purpose of the visit included the exchange of good practices, a presentation of TIK, its growth and – most importantly – upgrading its competitiveness, presenting production processes and clean rooms.
By maintaining good business relations with Teleflex Medical, TIK d.o.o. wishes to consolidate its position in the very important Italian market, as Teleflex Medical is one of the key customers of TIK d.o.o. Teleflex Medical sells products in the Italian market under their own Rusch brand, which is synonymous with quality and reliability in the medical device segment.
During the visit, they were extremely impressed with the natural beauty of the Soča Valley, and they took the opportunity for teambuilding. After visiting our company TIK d.o.o., they visited the Kobarid Museum of World War I, then continued their day with rafting on the refreshing Soča river and ended the sunny day with a picnic and socializing while enjoying local delicacies.
